Redevelopment Projects

Vedvista Redevelopment Timeline

Society Consultation & Evaluation

Our redevelopment journey begins with a general body meeting, where we present our approach and seek consent from the society members. A dedicated committee is formed to represent the society and collaborate closely with Vedvista, ensuring every step is transparent, participative, and community-driven.

Feasibility Assessment

Before presenting a formal proposal, we conduct an in-depth Feasibility Study. This includes:

  • Reviewing legal and ownership documents
  • Identifying any gaps or discrepancies

This report lays the foundation for a secure, compliant, and efficient redevelopment process.

Transparent Terms & Mutual Agreement

Once the feasibility is confirmed, we present a detailed offer with clearly outlined terms and benefits. These are finalized in joint discussions with the society committee, ensuring clarity and mutual trust from the outset.

Concept Design & Community Input

With a Letter of Intent or verbal go-ahead, our design team gets to work. We co-create layouts and floor plans in consultation with society members, incorporating their preferences, expectations, and vision into the new development.

Plan Presentation & Member Selection

We present multiple layout options tailored to the society’s needs. Through a collaborative selection process, final flat allocations and building plans are confirmed. A draft of the Redevelopment Agreement is then shared for review and feedback.

Legal Agreement & Government Sanctions

After alignment, the final agreement is signed and registered at the sub-registrar’s office. Parallelly, Vedvista obtains all necessary municipal sanctions and approvals, ensuring full compliance before the project kicks off.

Vacating the Premises & Project Launch

Society members are given 1–2 months to vacate their flats. Once vacated, we begin the demolition of the existing structure. The redevelopment begins with a traditional Bhoomi Pujan, marking the start of a new chapter for your community.

Redevelopment FAQ's

Housing society redevelopment is the process of demolishing an old residential building and constructing a new structure in its place. This is typically done to improve safety, infrastructure, and lifestyle amenities for society members.

Redevelopment enhances living standards by offering larger flats, better amenities, improved security, and modern infrastructure — often at zero cost to existing members. It also ensures compliance with current safety and building regulations.

Vedvista follows a transparent, participatory, and legally compliant process, ensuring that society members are involved in every key decision — from feasibility to design to final delivery.

The process starts with a general body meeting where the society agrees to explore redevelopment. A redevelopment committee is formed to coordinate with Vedvista and evaluate the project’s feasibility.

From initial discussions to project handover, redevelopment typically takes 18 to 36 months, depending on factors like approvals, design changes, and construction timelines.

In most cases, redevelopment is carried out at no financial burden to the members. Vedvista covers construction costs, and members receive upgraded homes with enhanced value.

Basic documents include society registration certificates, conveyance deed or land ownership proof, property card, building plans, and member consent. Vedvista assists in reviewing and organizing all required paperwork.

Vedvista provides temporary accommodation (rent + deposit) or a monthly rent compensation to residents while the new building is under construction.

Yes, a registered redevelopment agreement is signed between the society and Vedvista, clearly outlining the rights, responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables of both parties.
